“"0 Baht Shop" Opening of Thailand’ First Recycling Store ”

On 26 July 2012, Thailand Institute of Packaging and Recycling Management for Sustainable Environment (TIPMSE), the Federation of Thai Industries led by Mr. Sompong Tancharoenpol, Vice-chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries and Chairman of TIPMSE Executive Board presided over the opening of Thailand’s first recycling store, “0 Baht Shop” at On Nut 14 Rai Community. The Zero (0) Baht Shop sign handed over to the community. To celebrate the event, members of the Onnut 14 Rai Saleng Group also demonstrate the products from recycled materials used for demonstrating inventions recyclables. Participants were given a chance to visit TIPMSE Learning center consisting of organic farming, recycle center, the zero baht shop, and livelihood of the sustainable community.
